I was commissioned to design a bridesmaid dresses for my client, Marley, during late 2020. Her main requests were to have the dress be modest, comfortable, and easy to move in.
We collaborated on concept, in order to align with the color palette required by the bride. Then I presented a series of sketches for her to decide on final design. From there I drafted blocks specific to her measurements and then drafted the initial patterns for the dress. After a few fittings, I was then able to construct the final garment.

After our first collaboration, Marley commissioned me to design an additional dress for another wedding she was to be in during the summer of 2021. The previous dress was used as a starting point. We tweaked sleeve, added a sheer yoke, and made sure that the aesthetics fit into the requests of the bride.
